Fountain police officer accused of stalking high school student

FOUNTAIN, Colo.– A school resource officer from Fountain was jailed Thursday because of some pretty serious allegations involving a teenager.

Sgt. Dorell Green of the Fountain Police Department was accused of stalking a female student at Fountain-Fort Carson High school. He’s also accused of promotion of obscenity to a minor. Both are felonies.

Green is a supervising school resource officer at the school.

On Wednesday, the fountain police department was told about the allegations about Sgt. Green, followed immediately by an El Paso County Sheriff investigation, which lead to green’s arrest.

He has a twenty five thousand dollar bond.

Fountain police, the sheriff’s office, and school district eight said they’re not commenting on this case, because of the investigation and Green’s right to due process.

He’ll be back in court on May 6th.

Parents of kids who go to the high school didn’t want be on camera, but they said this is a shocking and worrying case.

Some students said they didn’t know this was happening, but now, a lot of kids at the school know about it and they said they’re equally as shocked as everyone else about this situation.
