FOUNTAIN, Colo. — An SRO in the Fountain-Fort Carson school district has been arrested on charges of stalking a high school girl.

The Fountain Police Department said Dorell Green was arrested Thursday on charges of stalking and promotion of obscenity to a minor, both felonies.

The department said on Wednesday, they received a criminal allegation involving communications between Green and a student who attends Fountain-Fort Carson High School. The department referred the case to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office to ensure transparency. The sheriff’s office investigated and arrested Green.

Green is being held without bond at the El Paso County jail. His first court appearance is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said Green has been employed with the department since February 2012. He is also a reservist in the U.S. Air Force, and has been on military leave since April 23, 2015.

Green has been put on paid administrative leave, and all of his credentials and commissions are suspended. The police department said there is a chance Green could be terminated, pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation.
