No one injured in shots fired incident near Colorado Springs Safeway

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — No one was injured when shots were fired from a vehicle in a central Colorado Springs parking lot Monday morning.

Police said they were called to the Safeway at 2210 North Wahsatch Avenue around 11 a.m. to investigate a drive-by shooting. Police said the victim was driving north through the parking lot in front of the nearby Ent Federal Credit Union when someone fired several shots at his vehicle. The suspect was a passenger in an older red vehicle that was last seen headed south on Wahsatch.

Police said no one was injured by the shots. Officers searched the area and couldn’t find any vehicles or buildings that had been hit by the shots.
