Homeowner robbed at gunpoint in northeastern Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A northeastern Colorado Springs home was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon, according to police.

Police said the robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. at a home in the 5800-block of Pamlico Drive, which is in the area of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Stetson Hills Boulevard. Three men and a woman kicked open the locked front door and entered. One of the men held a handgun to the homeowner’s head. The suspects stole three flat-screen TVs and other electronic items before driving away in an SUV.

A girl in the home heard the suspects yelling and hid in her bedroom closet out of fear, according to police.

After the robbers left, the homeowner ran to his neighbor to call for police. No one was injured in the robbery.
