Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend and hitting him with car

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado Springs woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend and hitting him with a car Monday afternoon.

Police said the incident happened around 4 p.m. at an apartment at 431 East Willamette Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs. A woman and her boyfriend were arguing when the woman stabbed the victim in both legs with a kitchen knife, according to police. The woman then threw an unknown glass object at the victim, hitting him in the face. Police said the suspect then grabbed the victim’s wallet and left the apartment. When the victim discovered his wallet and money were missing, he chased the suspect to her car. The suspect backed her car into the victim, knocking him off his feet, according to police.

Police said the victim was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The suspect, Faith Grimes, was arrested early Tuesday morning.
