These upcoming lane closures could interfere with your commute

COLORADO SPRINGS — You may have noticed the electronic signs along the Interstate, alerting drivers of lane closures.

Officials with the Colorado Department of Transportation warn that upcoming construction may interfere with your commute.

Here’s the list of projects planned across southern Colorado:

I 25 Northbound/Southbound at Fillmore Street in Colorado Springs (Milemarker 145)

(through June 2016)

Mo 7a-5a shoulder closures on northbound and southbound ramps for earth bridge and wall work; Tu 8p-5a

westbound single lane closure in both directions at I-25 & Fillmore Intersection for traffic signal replacement.

I 25 Northbound/Southbound at Meadows Parkway North of Castle Rock (Milemarker

184-187) (through June 2016)

Mo-Fr 9a-5p northbound right lane closure; Mo 7a-10a southbound left lane closure for trucks entering work zone.

US 50 Eastbound McCulloch Blvd. to Wills Blvd., Pueblo (Milemarker 309.7-313.5) (through

April 2015)

9:00 AM-3:00 PM TU, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM FR Eastbound right lane closure for delivery of concrete pipe.

US 50 Eastbound/Westbound Granada Bridges (Milemarker 455-452) (through December


7:00 AM-7:00 PM MO-FR Occasional traffic stops in each direction. Speed reduction in work zones, vehicles wider

than 12 ft. not allowed through work zone.

US 85 Northbound/Southbound At Meadows Parkway (Milemarker 185.7-186.7) (through June


8:00 PM-6:00 AM MO-WE One-lane alternating traffic for striping operations. 24 hours, only one lane is open in each

direction for barrier re-alignment.

CO 86 Eastbound/Westbound Between I-25 and Woodlands Boulevard in Castle Rock

(Milemarker 1.5) (through July 2015)

24 Hours- MO-FR Various right lane closures from I-25 Interchange to Front St.; Various right lane closures Front St.

to Crowfoot Valley Road to remove and set light poles.
