Man rescued from Colorado store’s walls arrested

A man who was trapped in a space between two walls of a Colorado department store for as long has three days is facing several charges.

The Longmont Times-Call reports
35-year-old Paul Felyk, of Westminster, was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree burglary, criminal trespassing, possession of methamphetamine, criminal tampering and criminal mischief.

Employees at a Marshalls store in Longmont reported hearing someone yelling Monday but couldn’t tell where it was coming from. On Tuesday, they found the man yelling for help through a hole in the wall, so they notified authorities. Firefighters used a circular saw to free Felyk.

Police believe he had been there since Saturday or Sunday night, when he fell about 20 feet after climbing through a vent on the roof.
