Colorado Springs woman robbed right in front of her home

Colorado Springs police are now investigating after a woman was robbed right in front of her home.

It happened at about 10:40 p.m., at a home in the 2300 block of Bonfoy Avenue. That’s near the area of East Van Buren Street and North Union Boulevard.

According to police, the woman was getting something from her vehicle which was parked right in front of her home. That’s when an unknown man approached her from behind and pushed her into the vehicle.

Police said the man grabbed the woman’s purse and a white plastic grocery bag out of her hand before running away.

The suspect was described as being a white man, 15-16 years old with a blond-buzz cut hairstyle. He was wearing a long-sleeved dark blue pullover and light-colored jeans with white shoes.
