Colorado named the 2nd ‘horniest’ state in the U.S.

Yes, you read the headline correctly – Colorado has been named the second horniest state in the United States.

But it’s not what you think.

A lot of animals in Colorado have horns – hence the state being named the second horniest state.

The list was done by the website digg. 

According to the site, Colorado has the largest bighorn sheep population. The bighorn sheep is known for its large horns, of which can weigh up to 30 pounds.

Bighorn sheep can be seen often around the Pikes Peak area.

The horniest state, or the state with the most horns, was listed as being Alaska. There, there are about 80,000 wild bighorn sheep, Dall sheep, mountain goats and muskox.

Montana was third.
