Traffic Alert: Road closures and delays for the week ahead

Motorists, be aware.

The following is a list fo the highway projects from the Colorado Department of Transportation planned for this week across Southern Colorado.

Officials said all work is dependent upon the weather.

Jan. 12-18, 2014

I 25 Northbound/Southbound From Raton Pass North
(Milemarker 1-7) (through March 2014)

7:00 AM-6:00 PM MO-FR
 Single lane closures for paving operations as weather permits. Delays possible.

I 25 Northbound/Southbound Between Pueblo South to Burnt Mill Road
(Milemarker 88-92) (through January 2014)

8:00 AM-4:00 PM MO-TH
 Single lane closures MO & TU NB I-25 and WE & TH SB I-25 for crack sealing operations. Speed limit reduced to 55 mph through work zone.

I 25 Northbound From Woodmen Road to Monument
(Milemarker 149-161) (through August 2014)

9:00 PM-5:30 AM SU-TH, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-FR
 Nighttime: single lane closures in each direction for roadway reconstruction. Daytime: possible lane closures on ramps for ramp construction. Most daytime work behind barrier. Delays possible.

US 350 Eastbound/Westbound Near Hoehne
(Milemarker 6.5) (through March 2014)

24 Hours-
 There will be one lane alternating traffic with traffic signals for bridge demolition. Speed limit reduced to 40 mph. 10 minute delays possible. 14 ft width restriction in effect through mid December 2013.

US 50 Eastbound/Westbound La Junta West
(Milemarker 376.3) (through January 2014)

24 Hours-
 Only one lane open in each direction for pipe installation. Delays possible.

CO 120 Eastbound/Westbound Over the Arkansas River east of Florence
(Milemarker 3.6) (through May 2014)

7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-FR
 There will be one lane alternating traffic for bridge construction. Delays possible.
