Police arrest man involved in home burglary

Colorado Springs police have arrested one of the men involved in a home burglary early this morning.
According to police, it happened at 22 N. Chelton Rd., near Academy and Platte, where a neighbor heard people moving trash cans outside the residence.
The suspects saw the neighbor looking at them and immediately ran away from the area.
Officers were called to the area and found one of the suspects walking in a nearby field, but were not able to locate the second suspect.
The second suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, 5’5″ tall, and around 30 years old.
29-year-old Francisco Hernandez was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary. Police were also able to recover the stolen property from the address.
